The school year has begun, and it is special – not like usual
Despite previous academic years when school was held in a pandemic, learning in war is different.
Children who have moved from other settlements and are forced to get used to new schools, conditions, mentality, and learning are stressful for children
What can help children? First of all, it is the stability of parents. Children’s psyche works in such a way that it is easier for them to endure difficulties when they see the stability of their parents
How and where can parents find this stability and resources?
Learning when children have to go to the shelter: how to stay calm and not panic?
Why it is important to follow rituals: “And let the whole world wait…”?
What rules will help children, parents and teachers? Why should we not punish for grades?
How to maintain online hygiene? Children watch their parents – the state of parents is transmitted to parents: what state will we pass on to children?
How not to get confused by following simple rules while studying online
Psychologist Svitlana Royz and TNMK created a song, a therapeutic tool that would help to cope with anxiety and panic during sirens, and to get out of a stupor. All the words and proposed movements are thought out. They are used by trauma therapists in their work. This is a song to sing while going to a shelter or a safe place and, if possible, perform the suggested actions. Rhythm, movement, children’s voices, the use of verbs, giving a new meaning to the sound of the siren (when you hear the siren, the Armed Forces are working). The appeal to the child – take care of your safety – help the Armed Forces – makes the song a therapeutic workshop. The video by Oleksandr Koreshkov emphasizes the rhythm, gives a sense of protection and strength
