The “Tree of My Life” Charitable Foundation has launched a charity event to support the military.
Brynza, borscht, stuffed cabbage, cottage cheese, eggs – this is a small list of home-cooked dishes that the military undergoing rehabilitation in Svaliava City Hospital would like to try, says Olena Gerzhenii, the head of the Svaliava branch of the CF “Tree of My Life”, a psychologist who is in charge of collecting and delivering ready-made home-cooked dishes to our defenders.
For your information, the “Tree of My Life” CF provides psychological support to soldiers who are in hospitals and hospitals in Svaliava, Mukachevo, and Uzhhorod.
“Every week, on Thursday, the team of the “Tree of My Life” CF visits Svaliava hospital, among others. Psychological support for the military is provided by our resource-oriented consultant, a consultant in military psychology Pavlo Gudra.
During one of these meetings, it turned out that the guys missed home-cooked meals. After all, when you are away from home, undergoing treatment for a long time, you probably have a dream of having something to eat besides diet food. So, we decided to organize ourselves and treat the military with home-cooked meals. According to the latest requests, our defenders are most interested in home-cooked borsch,” said Ms. Olena.
According to her, the charity event was joined by caring residents of Svaliava and participants of classes at the psychological center.
“One of them donated money to buy fruit, another baked pancakes, and this week another woman volunteered to make stuffed cabbage rolls,” says Ms. Olena.
The psychologist calls on everyone who cares to join their initiative and says she will be happy to send home-cooked meals, which are so important for the soldiers’ speedy recovery.
Those who wish to join the charity initiative can bring ready-made meals to the Svaliava branch of the “Tree of My Life” Charitable Foundation by calling (066) 335 27 51.
