Dmytro Keshelya also wrote books for children: «Marmalade», «Shiny-eyed animal».
His plays are rather popular among people «Voice of the Great River», «Wooden People», «Transcarpathian Christmas», «Nedotepa from Vertep» («Nedotepa» means
«a simpleton, an ignorant personal»). These works were staged on the Ukrainian stage and abroad.
Dmytro Keshelya writes not only in the Ukrainian language, but also in the Carpathian-Ruthenian dialect.
His works were translated into English, Hungarian, Romanian, Czech and Slovak.
Dmytro Keshelya is a screenwriter and director of more than 10 documentaries about the culture, history, traditions and famous historical figures of Transcarpathia.
